Rector rides for Aerosure Tour de Chance

Dear Friends and Colleagues

You probably have by now already heard that in February 2104 I am joining 16 other bike riders on the Aerosure Tour de Chance 2014.

We will be cycling from Brisbane to Sydney to hopefully raise $250,000 for a wonderful Australian charity called Fighting Chance that is very special to me as it supports my god daughter Ashleigh.

Not only has Aerosure supported the tour and Fighting Chance by becoming the Major Corporate partner for 2014 but I have personally committed my body to the cause as well, and will be participating in the ride for the whole 1,100 kilometres of the tour.

So on 27th February 2014 I and the 16 other riders in the tour (and support team) will set off and hopefully will be covering the 1,100kms over the next 10 days. We will begin cycling from Wynnum-Manly in Brisbane and we will finish in Manly, Sydney on Saturday March 8th. (Can’t wait!!!)

My personal target is to raise in excess of $25,000 for Fighting Chance and for this I need your support.

Can I ask you to please dig deep for this worthiest of causes and sponsor me for the ride?

To make your tax deductible donation, please use this link: http://makingadifference.gofundraise.com.au/page/RectorG
